Regarding Dashcam Memory Card Storage Space
Recently, we've received many questions about dashcam memory card storage space. Today, we'll delve into the storage allocation method of dashcam memory cards to help you better understand its working principle!
Dashcam Memory Card Storage Space Allocation
Our dashcam memory cards use a 7:2:1 storage allocation method, specifically as follows:
70%: Used to store loop recording data. This space ensures that every driving moment is fully recorded, giving you greater peace of mind while driving.
20%: Dedicated to event recordings (locked files). In the event of a collision or emergency, these special recordings are marked and saved for quick retrieval later.
10%: Used to store photo files, ensuring you can always view important footage or photos of special moments.
When the loop recording storage space is full, regardless of whether it's recording, locked files, or photos, the system will automatically overwrite the oldest files. There's no need to manually delete old files, making memory card management more convenient.
Regular Checks and Formatting
To maintain optimal recording performance, we recommend "regular checks" and "formatting the memory card." This will ensure your dashcam always operates at its best, protecting your driving safety.
We hope these answers help you better understand your dashcam's memory card storage space. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us!
